On April 2, 2022, the complete liberation of Kyiv region from the invaders was announced.
Irpin, Bucha, Borodyanka, Gostomel, Moshchun - small towns northwest of the Ukrainian capital became the epicenter of the fire.
Their residents stood firm, at the cost of their own lives, defending their families, their homes, their land and the whole of Ukraine. They were subjected to terrible torture and had to endure the loss of their relatives, friends and acquaintances. They survived, but their pain will not subside for a long time.
The team of the Ukrainian Food Banks Federation promptly directed its efforts to support the residents of Kyiv region and help them survive the severe consequences of the war.
Thus, as of today, we have delivered more than 273 tons of charitable aid to the settlements of Kyiv Oblast, including 16,101 food parcels, as well as sweets, water, baby food, and sanitary products. The aid reached 56,350 affected Ukrainians.
Our partners BF "Future in palms", BRGO "Union of families with many children", Association "Child.ua", GO SSVV and BS Rodyna deliver UFBP food kits to the settlements of Kyiv region every month.
