Recently, the Ukrainian Federation of Food Banks was visited by Olesia Zhurakivska, an unsurpassed theater and film actress, artistic director of the Kyiv Academic Drama and Comedy Theater on the left bank of the Dnipro River, and Yuri Godot, a famous opera singer and tenor, who visited our hub in Kyiv.
Together they joined the work of our volunteers, who continue to work tirelessly despite nightly alarms and shelling.

A particularly sensitive moment was when Yuri Godot performed the famous Ukrainian song "Oh, in the meadow there is a red viburnum" and the Ukrainian anthem. Everyone sang along with heartbreak and tears in their eyes. Another reminder that today we are building history. Each of us, in our place.
