30 January marked the first anniversary of our project “FoodTruck. Food Without Borders.”

Exactly one year ago, the food truck left the courtyard of the 1+1 TV channel in Kyiv and began its incredibly important mission. Since then, it has been working in five Ukrainian cities, bringing warmth and care to people and serving countless Ukrainians.

At the end of January in Brovary, we set a record — 17,680 meals served in a single day. On average, we are now reaching around 10,000 hot meals per day here.

To mark the anniversary, together with our partners, the Ukrainian Food Banks Federation organized the “Borscht of Resilience” campaign. During the event, there was a live broadcast on the National TV Marathon, where Nataliia Moseichuk and the 1+1 team showed and told the story of how we feed our fellow citizens with delicious borscht prepared according to a traditional Ukrainian recipe.
