“Traditions of Kindness” – A New UFBF Project Focused on Corporate Volunteering
On June 10, the first event took place in Kyiv as part of our new Ukrainian Food Bank Federation project — “Traditions of Kindness”. This project is aimed specifically at corporate volunteering.
During the first event, we joined forces with our donors and partners to cook meals for those most in need in the Podil district of the capital.
Volunteers worked in a professional kitchen under the guidance of chefs, prepared and packed more than 100 portions of hot meals, and those who wished also helped deliver the food to people unable to come for it themselves. And of course, we had a great time and made new connections.
“Traditions of Kindness” is not only about helping low-income Ukrainians; it is about unity, values, and responsibility. Because today, more than ever, it is important to stand together.
We are already preparing a video report from today’s event with comments from participants to show and tell how well everything went.
Thank you to everyone who took part. This is only the beginning.
